The winner of the Feherty's Troops First Foundation 50/50 raffle, took home $310, bringing the Texas Tour events total to $8,470 contributed to the Foundation in 2018.
RESULTS:
Championship Flight: Two-time winner in 2014 and off the tour with health issues, Reagan Rothe of Castroville, TX, can now say he's back. Rothe, in his third event of 2018, carded four birdies on the round, including the par 5 - 18th to pick up the win by a stroke. San Marcos, TX, first-year player Ty Brecher, with three birdies of his own, took home the runner-up finish, with Robert Lippert of Copperas Cove, TX, rounding out the top three.
Palmer Flight: Senior Palmer traveling player Michael Fyfe of McKinney, TX, and the Dallas Tour didn't let the combined flight bother him. Fyfe, with three birdies on the round, went -1 to pick up his second win of the season. Back nine strokes, San Antonio, TX, player Rene Realme, a winner his last time out, finished in the runner-up spot with a birdie of his own on the par 4 - 2nd, with John Harvell of Bryan, TX, and a birdie at the same hole, one stroke back in third place.
Hogan Flight: Making the best of playing his home course, John Franklin of San Antonio, TX, picked up the win over Houston, TX, traveler Nestor Alvarez. Alvarez made par on the final hole, the par 5 - 18th to stay one stroke ahead of Jim Puckett of Leander, TX, taking home the showplace finish.
Senior Hogan Flight: With birdies on the par 4 - 2nd and the par 5 - 18th, Steve Wade of Boerne, TX, picked up his third win on tour and second of the season. Two strokes back, the pair of Allan Collier of Austin, TX, with a birdie on the par 4 - 13th and Kerrville, TX, second-time player Jacinto Zambrano, with two birdies on his round, shared the runner-up finish.
Sarazen Flight: San Antonio, TX, tour member Xavier Bardy, with a birdie on the par 5 - 5th, went +3 on the front nine to pick up his twelfth win on tour and first since June 2017. One stroke back, Tommy Mobley of San Marcos, TX, finished alone in the runner-up spot, two strokes clear of the pair of John Maywald of Boerne, TX, and Odessa, TX, member Norm Gosselin, both win a birdie on the cards, finishing in third.
Jones Flight: Phil Lewis of San Antonio, TX, despite taking a ten on the par 5 - 8th, rebounded with a +3 on the back, finishing with a birdie on the par 5 - 18th to pick up the win. For Lewis, it was his fifth Championship on tour and second of the season. Two strokes back, Burnett, TX, player Michael Page, with a birdie on the par 4 - 17th, finished in the runner-up spot, with Greg Singhaus of New Braunfels, TX, rounding out the top three.
Snead Flight: Mico, TX, member Charles Mielak, picked up his third win of the season and eighth on tour. Three strokes back, Dan O'Shea of Copperas Cove, TX, carded his fourth runner-up finish of the season and third in as many attempts. Two strokes back of O'Shea, first-year player Jack Iglesias of Killeen, TX, with a birdie on the par 4 - 17th took home the third place honors.
